Snøhetta’s Product Design team has secured two prominent nominations at this year’s Bo Bedre Design Awards, underscoring its rising influence in contemporary product design. The Aura lamp, created for Viabizzuno, has been shortlisted for Lamp of the Year, while the studio itself has been nominated for Designer of the Year—a recognition of its consistently inventive and exploratory practice.
The jury highlighted the team’s experimental mindset and innovative methodologies, exemplified by the Matter project with Ege Carpets, where coding and randomized algorithms generate weaving patterns that feel organic and naturally evolving. This same spirit is reflected in the SEQUENCE series for BD Barcelona, which uses color, rhythm, and composition to bring warmth and personality to modern workplace environments.
