Patrick Thompson Design, in collaboration with creative studio Midnite Oil Creative, has crafted Red Ryder—a vibrant bar and restaurant in Plymouth, Michigan that celebrates community, music, and authentic social culture. The design merges the gritty charm of a classic dive bar with refined craftsmanship and thoughtful detailing, creating a space that feels both familiar and endlessly engaging. (turn0search0)
Completed in 2024 and recognized as an Interior Design Best of Year Honoree, Red Ryder is built around the love of music and human connection. Its walls are lined with over 4,000 vintage vinyl records spanning genres, while an illuminated marquee displays evocative lyrics chosen by the team and staff. Custom millwork, warm wood tones, and layered lighting bring personality and character to every corner, inviting guests into a space that feels like a beloved local favorite from day one.
