Set within the rugged wilderness of Idaho, Idaho Y is a private residential retreat designed by Ralston Architects and visualized by FORTES VISION, where architecture is deliberately restrained and the landscape takes the lead. Rather than asserting itself, the home settles quietly into its surroundings, responding to the rhythms of nature and the changing seasons.

Conceived as a seasonal escape, the residence opens generously to summer light, greenery, and expansive views. Large glazed surfaces dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, while the surrounding forest provides privacy through natural enclosure. Openness, rather than isolation, defines the living experience.
