A bold new headquarters for Iglu Student Accommodation reimagines residential design principles within a contemporary workplace setting. Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, the project by Bates Smart delivers a light-filled environment that thoughtfully balances collaboration and focused work, supported by generous shared amenities.

The interior palette — warm timber, bold red accents, and raw concrete — reflects Iglu’s brand identity while responding to the surrounding urban fabric of Sydney. Carefully curated collaborative zones, quiet workspaces, and welcoming communal areas cultivate a strong sense of belonging.

Blending #ResidentialDesign thinking with urban sophistication, the headquarters creates a workplace that feels community-led, distinctly human, and genuinely like home.
