Located in Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Scooped is a playful ice cream shop designed for the Canadian dessert brand Demetres. With ice cream stored out of direct sight due to refrigeration constraints, Kilogram Studio embraced clever design strategies—like angled counters following mall foot traffic and trompe l’oeil effects—to make the space engaging and dynamic. Stainless steel panels with perforations highlight waffle cones, while mirrored and fluted glass surfaces encourage visitors to pause, interact, and capture photos with their treats
