The BTG Pactual VIP Terminal at São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport is Latin America’s first fully dedicated ultra-premium airport terminal designed to transform how high-end travelers embark and arrive. Created by global design firm Perkins&Will with interiors and décor by Pascali Semerdjian Arquitetos, the 2,400 m² facility redefines exclusivity in aviation with a bespoke architectural and spatial experience tailored to comfort, privacy, and efficiency. theplan.it+1
Inspired by the freedom of flight and the wings of birds, Perkins&Will shaped the terminal with inverted roof forms and a light-filled structure that evokes openness and movement. A central lush garden with native Brazilian trees — such as sibipiruna, white ipê, and brazilwood — divides circulation and brings nature into the heart of the space while respecting airport safety standards and local biodiversity. Metal, wood, and expansive glass façades frame sweeping sky views and flood the interior with daylight, creating an inviting yet sophisticated atmosphere for travelers.
