Grand Paris Express Furniture and Branding Identity is a design initiative led by Patrick Jouin ID to unify the look, feel, and functionality of furniture, fixtures, and passenger information systems across the Grand Paris Express, one of Europeโs most ambitious urban transit projects. Entrusted with creating equipment and visual elements for more than 60 new stations in the expanding metro network, the design team sought to develop a common visual language that enhances usability while letting each station maintain its own identity within the larger system. Patrick Jouin IDโs work covers furniture, signage, reception counters, bicycle shelters, seating, and passenger information panels, all designed with ergonomics, clarity, and continuity in mind. The design strategy aims to help travelers intuitively understand and navigate the network, ensuring that everyday transit activities feel comfortable, legible, and visually consistent from station to station. Integrating these elements into diverse station architectures strengthens the sense of a unified transit ecosystem while responding to local architectural contexts.
