A new collaborative exhibition exploring the relationship between architecture and nature is set to debut this summer at the Chicago Architecture Center. The initiative was recently previewed during a special gathering hosted by Jeanne Gang, Founding Partner of Studio Gang, alongside Eleanor Esser Gorski, CEO and President of the Chicago Architecture Center.
Partners and supporters gathered at Studio Gangโs rooftop Treehouse to learn about the vision behind this joint project, which is being co-curated by Studio Gang and the Chicago Architecture Center. The exhibition aims to raise public awareness around design strategies where architecture, urban ecology, and wildlife habitats can coexist in a balanced urban environment.
Through this initiative, the organizations hope to spark new conversations about how cities can evolve to better support both people and nature. By highlighting projects and ideas that integrate biodiversity with thoughtful design, the exhibition encourages the public to imagine future cities where ecological resilience and community life thrive together.
More details about the exhibition will be announced soon as preparations continue for its official opening later this summer in Chicago.
