LG Electronics has officially opened the SKS Chicago Showroom, a landmark venue designed in collaboration with acclaimed architect Piero Lissoni. Positioned inside THE MART, the showroom offers an immersive luxury lifestyle experience centered on the SKS portfolio of ultra-premium built-in appliances. Showcasing over 50 appliances and five curated kitchen environments, the space reflects LG’s evolving vision for high-end living in the North American market.
A Lifestyle Experience Rooted in Design Excellence
The “SKS Theater” concept embraces Lissoni’s minimalist aesthetic, combining refined materials, controlled lighting, and immersive media art to embody the brand’s “True to Food” philosophy. The showroom’s 8,672-square-foot footprint features five fully tailored kitchens-Serenity, Midnight, Residence, Immersive, and Interactive—each crafted to demonstrate how SKS products integrate seamlessly into contemporary luxury homes.
Showcasing Innovation Across the SKS Portfolio
More than 50 appliances are on display, including industry-first sous-vide pro ranges, precision induction cooktops, and premium refrigeration systems. Visitors can also preview upcoming innovations such as the new 29-inch SKS washer and dryer pair, alongside award-winning French door refrigerators, refrigeration and freezer columns, and wine storage solutions. A striking installation of LG MAGNIT direct-view LED displays enhances the experience with cinematic visual storytelling.
Strengthening SKS’s North American Presence
The Chicago showroom marks the third SKS venue in the United States, following Napa and New Jersey. Its strategic placement within one of North America’s premier design hubs underscores LG’s commitment to supporting designers, architects, builders, and consumers seeking modern luxury solutions. The opening also aligns with SKS’s 2025 brand evolution, strengthening its identity in the premium built-in appliance market.
