Henning Larsen has announced Greta Tiedje as Global Design Director and Michael Sørensen as Global Market Director, marking a significant step in strengthening the firm’s international presence.
In her new role, Greta will lead creative direction across global studios, championing visual storytelling, collaborative design, and experimental architecture. Since joining Henning Larsen Copenhagen in 2021, she has spearheaded multiple international design competitions and focuses on context, social impact, and spatial innovation.

Michael has led major projects across North America, from civic and cultural buildings to transformative masterplans, including the Minneapolis Public Service Building, the Lindner College of Business in Cincinnati, and the Downsview Framework Plan in Toronto.
Greta has worked across Germany and Denmark and taught at the Royal Danish Academy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Royal Danish Academy School of Architecture and University of Fine Arts Berlin. Agnete Schlichtkrull, 2024
Michael Sørensen, based in Copenhagen, brings 18 years of experience with Henning Larsen, including five years leading the New York studio. As Global Market Director, he will drive strategic market development and client engagement across the firm’s worldwide network, overseeing major projects in North America such as the Minneapolis Public Service Building and the Lindner College of Business in Cincinnati.
