The Oaxaca Residence, located on the rugged Pacific coast of Oaxaca, Mexico, is a deeply personal project for co-founder Will Meyer and his family. Designed in collaboration with local builder Patricio Sodi, this home fuses Oaxacan vernacular architecture with modern minimalism, anchored by a dramatic palapa roof that frames expansive views of the ocean. Recognized as a winner in the BLT Awards for Interior Design — Houses, the residence celebrates its regional context with custom breeze blocks inspired by traditional weaving, natural materials like terracotta and concrete, and a spacious layout oriented toward nature.
