Designed by Studio Fuksas, the Rhike Park Music Theatre and Exhibition Hall stands as a bold cultural landmark within the urban fabric of Tbilisi, Georgia. The project brings together two soft, fluid architectural volumes, seamlessly connected at a retaining wall, creating a sculptural composition that mediates between landscape, city, and riverfront.
The northern volume accommodates the 566-seat Music Theatre Hall, along with its foyer, technical facilities, support spaces, and storage areas. In contrast, the second volume rises dramatically from the ground, establishing a strong visual presence and offering panoramic views of the river and city skyline from the foyer and cafeteria.
Conceived as a periscope to the city, the building carefully frames views of Old Tbilisiโs historic core while maintaining an active dialogue with its contemporary surroundings. The expressive geometry exemplifies how parametric design can coexist with functional clarity, reinforcing the projectโs role as both an architectural icon and a civic space.
Originally featured by ParametricArchitecture, the project underscores the power of form-driven design in shaping modern cultural and exhibition architecture.
