The Seneca Polytechnic Health & Wellness Centre is a transformative student life and community facility currently under development at Seneca’s Newnham Campus in Toronto, Ontario. Designed collaboratively by DIALOG—a leading integrated architecture and design firm—and Two Row Architect, an Indigenous‑owned practice rooted in culturally informed design, the project reimagines campus wellness with a deeply holistic and inclusive vision.
Inspired by the medicine wheel and drum circle, the centre’s circular configuration symbolizes balance, equality, wholeness, and connection, anchoring its physical and cultural identity. Programs radiate from a central drum courtyard with a fire pit, designed to foster community gatherings and spiritual connection. The facility will house counselling services, traditional medicines, recreation and varsity sports facilities, and a new home for the Seneca Student Federation, creating a hub for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing on campus.
