John Prentice, Principal and Global Sector Leader – Transport at Woods Bagot, has been officially appointed to the NSW State Design Review Panel, an initiative led by the Government Architect NSW to promote design excellence and innovation across the state’s built environment.

    Promoting Design Quality and Collaboration:
The NSW State Design Review Panel plays a key role in guiding the design and delivery of significant public and private sector projects. By integrating independent design advice early in the planning process, the program seeks to elevate architectural quality, urban outcomes, and community benefit statewide.

    A Vision for City-Shaping Projects:
Commenting on his appointment, Prentice stated, “This appointment represents a meaningful opportunity to contribute independent design expertise to city-shaping projects across the state, and in turn, to lift the design quality of State significant projects.”

Leadership in Transport and Urban Design:
With extensive experience in transport-oriented and complex infrastructure projects, Prentice’s inclusion on the panel underscores his commitment to fostering environments where architecture, mobility, and sustainability intersect. His expertise will support the state’s mission to create more livable, connected, and future-ready urban spaces.
