Sonali Bhagwati, Design Partner at DesignPlus Architecture, New Delhi, is set to take the stage as a Speaker at ID Mumbai 2025 – bringing decades of design excellence, thought leadership, and practice-driven insight to the platform.
A graduate of CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Sonali further honed her craft under Architect Bernard Kohn as a scholarship recipient of L’Institut Français d’Architecture. She co-founded Spazzio Design Architecture with Sohrab Dalal and is currently a partner at DesignPlus Architecture, with a portfolio of 200+ completed projects and multiple award-winning works.
Her contributions to hashtagarchitecture and hashtaginteriordesign have been widely recognised, including being named Architect of the Year by Zee Business. Beyond practice, Sonali has actively shaped the public realm – serving two terms on the Delhi Urban Arts Commission, contributing to environmental evaluation committees under the Ministry of Environment, and engaging with heritage through the Delhi Conservation Society.
Her presence at ID Mumbai 2025 adds a strong voice to conversations around hashtagdesignexcellence, hashtagurbanheritage, and the evolving role of architects in shaping inclusive, responsible cities.
