Belden House & Mews, located in Litchfield, Connecticut, is a masterful restoration and adaptive reuse of an 1888 colonial mansion and a 1959 modernist mews building, newly opened as a 31‑room boutique hotel. Champalimaud Design collaborated with PBDW Architects and local artisans to preserve the property’s historic character while introducing modern vitality. Interiors feature custom grasscloth, artisanal lighting, and richly textured fabrics that reflect Litchfield’s architectural legacy and bucolic charm.
