HKS has announced that Heath May will succeed Dan Noble as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman in January 2026, following a year-long mentorship to ensure a seamless transition.
Dan Noble, who has led HKS since 2014, reflected on over four decades at the firm, highlighting efforts to expand its global reach, diversify projects, and cultivate a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and community impact.
Heath May, Global Practice Director of HKS LINE, brings 20+ years of experience at HKS and a strong track record in computational design, research, and innovation. His portfolio includes landmark projects such as SoFi Stadium, Pacific Plaza Pavilion, and the FBI Innovation Center, showcasing his ability to combine technology with client-focused design.
“I am deeply honored to step into this role and build upon the extraordinary foundation Dan has established,” said May. He emphasized continuing HKS’ culture of curiosity, innovation, and design leadership while shaping the future of architecture and the firm globally.
