Hotel Bourré Bonne is a striking new lifestyle hotel in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, designed in collaboration with acclaimed designer Mark Zeff and the in‑house team of developer Zyyo. Part of Hilton’s Curio Collection, the project celebrates Louisville’s rich cultural heritage with a contemporary design that feels both rooted and forward‑thinking. Mark Zeff’s design for Hotel Bourré Bonne embraces Louisville’s historic cast‑iron architecture with a dramatic black façade and elegant arches that anchor the building in its urban context. Inside, warm, tactile materials such as polished and raw concrete paired with custom woodwork and earthy hues evoke the Bluegrass State’s landscape, while deconstructed bourbon barrels hanging from the lobby ceiling offer a poetic tribute to the region’s legendary spirits culture.
